Buratino Ballet Studio has a vast repertoire from separate classical or thematic dances to independent ballet performances. For every new creative season the Buratino Ballet Studio stages a new ballet performance and prepares a concert program with a duration of 60 minutes. Since June 1999, Buratino Ballet Studio is the host and organizer of the International Children Ballet Festival “With Love For Dance”, that takes place from 1st to 4th of June every second year.
Buratino Ballet Studio accomplishes various individual concerts and tours extensively abroad. The studio has performed in Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, The Czech Republic, Slovakia, Greece, Moldova, Ukraine, Russia, Hungary, Austria, France and Italy. Successful cooperation and joint concerts with Ballet Studio “Arteshena”, Verona, Italy. Financially Buratino Ballet Studio is supported by the Municipality Plovdiv – Culture Department and other regular sponsors. The Chief Artistic Manager of the Buratino Ballet Studio is Masha Ivanova.
The individual look, style and repertoire of the studio take their deserving and important place as part of the culture of the city of Plovdiv and provide delight for all lovers of the art of ballet. The studio is a proud owner of the “Plovdiv Award” for 2004, 2010 and 2012 for its excellence in the art of ballet. First Award for Performance, Acting and Costumes, two first awards for Individual Performances and first award for Ballet Pedagogue at the Festival “Magic Italy” 2012, Riccione, Rimini. The Studio is always open for collaboration and exchange art visits with other similar studios in the country or abroad.
